"Snow"
Snow was purchased last spring in a group of horses and has turned out to be a great walk-trot mount.
We used her in our pony camp all last summer and for lessons after that.
She is steady and safe at the walk and will not break into the trot unless you let the rider hold a whip.
(you don't have to spank her, just hold it.)
This lets you have the freedom of letting the beginner riders practice without fear the pony will trot off with them.
She has super smooth gaits and will cross over the bridge and steer through cones, etc easily.
She will not lope easily so you are pretty much guaranteed she will not run off with your beginners when you start teaching them to trot.
I used her for several lessons a day (after pony camp too) all last summer.
She was a real trooper and knows exactly when a half hour is up!
She is best used alone or with a group she is used to being with.
She does like to squeal at the new guys.
Snow is 13.2H and 16yr.
Easy to clip, load, bathe and catch.
